The Rams definitely put on a show Monday night at SoFi Stadium when they defeated one of their NFC West rivals, the Cardinals, 34-11 in the wild card round.

LA quarterback Matthew Stafford finally has their first playoff win after a 3-0 loss to the Lions. Stafford finished the game with 13 of 17 passes, 202 yards and two touchdowns.

Stafford and the Rams dominated from the start. Her first of four touchdowns in the game came on her second drive, a 4-yard scoring pass from Stafford to Odell Beckham Jr. Beckham had nearly as many passing yards (40) as he received yards (54) when he made the longest pass of the night, to Cam Akers on a trick play.

The Cardinals fought all along the line. she didn’t get their first first down until the middle of the second quarter. On the drive before that, Kyler Murray threw a pick-six to David Long, who returned it 3 yards for a touchdown. Murray was intercepted twice while finishing 19 for 34 for 137 yards.

The Rams move on to Tampa, Fla. to face the No. 2 Buccaneers to compete. The Cardinals’ season is over.

23:24 — After a three-and-out by the Rams, the Cardinals got the ball back about a minute from time.

23:16 — The Cardinals are aiming for the fourth down but are unsuccessful. The Rams get the ball on the Cardinals’ 39-yard line.

23:13 — Eno Benjamin opens the Cardinals drive with a first down from 13 yards to try to keep the Cardinals alive.

11:09pm – FIELD GOAL, RAMS. Gay makes a 46-yard field goal to extend the Rams’ lead with just over four minutes left in the game. Aries 34, Cardinals 11.

23:03 — Kupp completes a 29-yard play and puts the Rams on their own 47-yard line.

22:35 — Van Jefferson Jr. catches a 41-yard pass from Stafford for a huge Rams first down.

22:27 — TOUCHDOWN, CARDINALS. Conner puts Arizona on the board after slipping two yards for a touchdown. The Cardinals’ two-point attempt was good. Aries 28, Cardinals 8.

10:24 p.m. — The Cardinals play their biggest game of the night after Kirk catches a 23-yard pass. After the game, Donald earned a personal foul after a fight broke out on the field. This moves the Cardinals to the seven yard line and puts them in 1st & Goal position.

22:22 — Murray runs seven yards to get a first down. They’re in Rams territory for the first time tonight at the 49-yard line.

22:19 — Rondale Moore gives the Cardinals a much-needed first down. They are on their own 38 yard line.

10:15 p.m. – TOUCHDOWN, RAMS. Cooper Kupp catches a pass from Stafford for a 7-yard touchdown. This makes Kupp the fourth Ram that night to score a touchdown. Rams 28, Cardinals 0.

22:12 — Stafford passes the ball to Beckham Jr., who then throws a 40-yard pass to Akers. This is the longest play of the evening.

9:37pm – INTERCEPT, RAMS. Marquise Copeland intercepts Murray’s pass intended for Conner. The Rams get the ball on their own 49-yard line.

9:30pm – TOUCHDOWN, RAMS. David Long Jr. intercepted Murray’s pass and ran the ball in three yards for a touchdown. Aries 21, Cardinals 0.

21:25 — Green catches a 22-yard pass from Murray, but the play was reviewed as it appeared incomplete. The verdict on the field was that it was a complete pass, but then the Rams touchline challenged the verdict. The appeal overturned the verdict, so the passport is incomplete.
