NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A valet at the Hutton Hotel was shot in the leg by a suspected car burglar early Saturday morning.

Metro police said the valet attendant saw two men on bicycles enter the hotel’s parking garage and notify hotel security.

A security guard entered the garage, was threatened by one of the men and pulled at him with a gun.

The two men left the parking garage and began shooting the hotel servant.

The 31-year-old servant was shot in the right leg and is recovering from non-critical injuries.

An armed security guard in a nearby parking lot heard the shots and saw the suspect flee from the scene.

Police said it was at this point that the armed suspect on the bike started opening fire on this security guard. The guard fired back but is not sure if he injured the shooter.

A surveillance photo has been released and police are asking anyone with information about the crime to call Crimestoppers 615-74 CRIME.
