Now the Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge plans to recreate it with its breakfast in bed deliveries within eight miles of London. Wake up to freshly baked pastries, succulent healthy options, or brunch-oriented loungers, including Scottish bagels with smoked salmon and cream cheese, and granola with Greek yogurt. Celebrations also have cake and champagne delivered by Berkeley branded bicycles in some zip codes.

Kit Kemp’s design style

Kit Kemp’s hotels – including London’s Ham Yard Hotel and Covent Garden Hotel, and Whitby and Crosby Streets in New York – stand out for their distinctive modern style, a brilliant juxtaposition of pattern and color, folk art and handicrafts. More designs have become available from Kemp lately, including furniture, tableware, and especially textiles, from luxurious headboards to throws and pillows. The latter involves a collaboration with the prison charity Fine Cell Work.
