The Bobcats won the River Valley Conference title with a 2-game sweep against Illinois Lutheran on Wednesday night. Abby Sippel went a perfect 3-on-3 with two doubles and two runs to keep Beecher at the front. Cheyanna Stluka added two singles for an RBI and scored a run. Cynthia Hon took victory on the bump, allowing zero runs with three hits while scoring seven in four innings of work.

Bradley-Bourbonnais 9, Minooka 8

The Boilermakers scored three runs in seventh place before holding Minooka back in the lower half of the inning to take the win. Natalie Johnson got a homer for an RBI to run BBCHS on the record. Maddy McIntyre went 3v4 at team level with two singles and a double for three RBIs. Kennedy Pepin secured victory on the hill, allowing six earned with 12 hits in six innings of work.

The Trojans held a two-run rally through the seventh-tier comets to win them with one run. Erin Anderson went 3-3 with two runs scored and an RBI to lead Dwight on the plate. Rachel Heath drove a doubles and a singles in two races. Abby Rodosky secured victory on the bump, allowing three to be earned on nine hits in a full tryout.

Ella White and Kaylee Ketcherside collected two hits each to lead the comets in their defeat. Kaylie Warpet threw a brace.

The Bearcats took an early lead in the second inning before never looking back. Emmaleah Marshino went 4-3 with a home run and a double to lead Milford at the top. Jordan Lucht and Brynlee Wright each beat two homers. Julia Bushnell took victory on the bump, allowing seven runs with eleven hits while scoring eight hits.

Marian Catholic 11, Beecher 3

Jacob Granicnzy threw a hard defeat, allowing seven that were earned with five hits. Mitchell Landis racked up two hits to lead the Bobcats offensive. Duane Doss threw a single hit and a run scored a goal.

Herscher 16, Dwight 1 (4 innings)

Daven Arseneau took victory on the hill for the Tigers, allowing a two-hit run over four innings of action. Camden Burns went 4-4 with four runs scored and one RBI to lead Herscher to the plate. Tyler Murray drove in four runs with three hits, including a double.

Carson Crouch lit a triple and Ryan Turner scored a single to sum up all of Dwight’s hits that night.

The Bearcats improved to 11-5 that season thanks to Payton Harwood’s arm. The ace lasted six innings and allowed a run with six hits. Luke McCabe went 4-4 with an RBI and scored two runs. Sawyer Laffoon scored two hits and two hits.

Cissna Park 12, Watseka 0

Ian Rogers was brilliant on the hill to ensure victory, allowing zero runs with two hits over five innings of work. Gavin Spitz went 2-3 with a double and two runs to lead the Timberwolves on the plate. Brayden Bruens threw off a brace.

Braiden Walwer and Conner Curry each had a hit to keep Watseka at the top.

The wildcats received points from Katelyn Lewsader and Aubrey Bryant. Abbie Rampa and Ella Banas each received an assist. Rachel Wandless scored 15 saves behind the net.
