Ruby Schwelm swept the sprints as Penncrest scored a 100-86 win over Ridley on Thursday.

Schwelm went 25.65 to win the 50 freestyle and bested the 100 free field in 57.72. Penncrest also won both freestyle relays.

Kaitlyn Neidich claimed the 200 free and 500 free. Grace Coughlin prevailed in the 100 breaststroke.

Ridley’s three swimming wins came via the stroke prowess of the Kennedys. Rori Kennedy won the 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke. Kayleigh Kennedy took home the 100 butterfly. Kacey Lenz won diving for the Green Raiders with a score of 240.35.

129 Strath Haven, Upper Darby 49 >> Ella Shifflett won the 200 IM and 500 free to anchor the victory for the Panthers.

Mira Gold won the 200 free and took part in three winning relays.

Upper Darby got a win in diving via Elise Olmstead, who also finished third in the 100 fly.

Boys Swimming

Brian Chieffo and Gavin Shifflett won the 100 free and 500 free back to back as Strath Haven glided to a 106-70 win over Upper Darby.

Tristan Barnes led a Haven 1-2 in the 100 breast. Noah Plunkett was part of two winning Strath Haven relays.

Upper Darby started the meet strong by winning the 200 free via Connor Hunt, Luke Olmstead in the 200 IM and Gabriel Green in the 50 free. Olmstead added the 100 free title, and Connor Hunt claimed the 100 back.

Ridley 111, Penncrest 63 >> Wins by Matt Murdock in the 200 free and 500 free led the Green Raiders to a comfortable victory.

Aidan Bender and Eric Boeckx claimed victories before the diving break, in the 200 IM and 50 free, respectively. Tyler Reeve was the top scorer in diving.

Penncrest got wins in the back half of the meet via Beppe Tangorra in the 100 free and Jonathan Hoole in the 100 back.
