June 21: The Elk Camp gondola opens for the season.

June 23 to August 18: The Snowmass Rodeo returns to the rodeo grounds on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.

June 26th and 27th: The Snowmass Art Festival takes place in the Snowmass Mall and Base Village.

June 26th and 27th: The flagship clinic of the VIDA MTB series houses the first of two two-day mountain bike clinics for women.

July 4th: The community celebration on July 4th honors Independence Day.

July 20-25: The Triple Crown World Series youth baseball tournament sets up its headquarters in Snowmass.

July 22-25: Volleyball of the Rockies brings its doubles volleyball tournament to Town Park.

August 6th and 7th: The Colorado Brewery Running Series hosts the 5K mountain trail running race.

August 20-22: Flynn Creek Circus brings the Big Top to Base Village.

September 3-5: The Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience is expected to return with a three day music festival.

September 10-12: The Snowmass Balloon Festival sends dozens of festive hot air balloons into the sky above the city.

September 11: The Axes and Arms Walk brings local first responders and community members together for a walk from Town Park Station to the top of the village.

September 18: Runners set out on the trails for the Golden Leaf Half Marathon from Snowmass to Aspen.

September 18: The Snowmass Wine Festival returns for the 19th time with food and wine in Town Park.

September 18 and 19: A second two-day mountain bike clinic for women takes place in the flagship clinic of the VIDA MTB series.

September 25-26: The Colorado High School Cycling League hosts cross-country mountain bike races at Snowmass.

Seasonal activations:

Snowmass Mountain Mission Scavenger Hunt (Daily): An app-based, village-wide scavenger hunt continues for the summer season.

ACES Daily Guided Walks (daily June 19 through September 6, then only on weekends through September 26): Free guided walks led by naturalists from the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies starting at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. from Depart from the Ticket Pavilion in the Snowmass Mall.

Thursday evening music (June 10th to August 26th): Free live music Thursday evenings; Place to be determined.

Fridays at the Mall (June 11 to August 27): Live music, extended business hours, local artisans, specialty food and drink, and children’s entertainment at the Snowmass Mall, plus free Snowmass S’mores.

Friday Snowmass Artisan and Farmers’ Market (July 2 to August 27): Local vendors sell specialty, beverages, clothing and handcrafted goods in Base Village.

Saturday Movies Under the Stars (July 24th to August 28th): The Collective Snowmass, in partnership with Aspen Film and Adventure Entertainment, is hosting screenings in Base Village.
