Originally built in 1903 as the world’s first reinforced concrete skyscraper and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, the historic Ingalls Building is taking on a new lease of life as the first Courtyard by Marriott hotel in downtown Cincinnati.

The 16-story property at 6 East 4th Avenue is owned and managed by SREE Hotels, LLC from Charlotte, North Carolina. General Manager Vernon Burchett is leading the SREE Hotels management team at this opening.

The Courtyard by Marriott Cincinnati Downtown is located downtown and 14 miles from the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport and offers guests access to Fountain Square; Paul Brown Stadium, home of the Cincinnati Bengals; and the Great American Ballpark, home of the Cincinnati Reds. The Smale Riverfront Park, the Duke Energy Convention Center and numerous shopping, dining and entertainment options are also within easy reach.

The Courtyard by Marriott Cincinnati Downtown has two levels of public space. The bistro is the epicenter of public space with more flexible and informal seating.

Each room offers views of downtown Cincinnati, including six loft-style suites on two levels with 6 meter high ceilings and 4.50 meter high windows. In the new guest room, characteristic furniture and architectural elements replace traditional art. Each room also features a bright desk on wheels that guests can use to work from anywhere in the room, a flat-screen TV with premium channels, a mini-refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a contemporary bathroom. Additional amenities include a fitness center in the old bank vault, free Wi-Fi, guest laundry, a 24-hour market, and a business library.
