With an internationally renowned Chinese supermodel Xiao Wen JuThe film pays tribute to the brand’s storied heritage and underscores the vibrant spirit and “Live Exquisite” traditions of St. Regis.

The St. Regis Qingdao, which opened earlier this year, provided the breathtaking backdrop for the video. The new hotel is located in the landmark Haitian Center and offers a breathtaking view over the coastal regions of Shandong in northeast China.

The glamorous film, along with three short vignettes, adds a modern twist to the timeless architectural designs and celebrated traditions of St. Regis through the expression of dance and fashion, and showcases the brand’s renowned services and elements. This includes the St. Regis Butler, a unique service that ensures that each guest’s unique preferences are understood and implemented. Also featured is the St. Regis Bar, found in every hotel around the world, featuring striking, goal-oriented designer narratives and priceless works of art. The video also recognizes The Violet Hour, a new initiative launched in St. Regis bars in Asia Pacific to celebrate the art of drinking. Scenes from a lavish St. Regis midnight supper are also included, with exquisite tables that mirror the intimate after-party vibe of the original midnight supper given by Mrs. Astor, Matriarch of the founding St. Regis family, the Astors, and doyenne of New York high society at the turn of the century. The video continues with another cherished ritual, champagne sabrage, which takes place at all St. Regis hotels and resorts around the world to celebrate the transition between day and evening and to welcome the endless possibilities of the night.

The St. Regis video was produced in collaboration with Vogue and staged by the Shanghai-based fashion director Lyu Mo, known for their intricate, avant-garde imagery. It shows the ethereal environments and details of St. Regis, reflecting people’s desire for their best selves and inner fantasies.
