The Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center turns into a hub for travel and tourism professionals from across the state next week.

The certification program of the Travel and Tourism College of the Texas Travel Alliance starts on Monday. According to a press release from the College Station, approximately 100 students and instructors will attend the course week, all of which are part of an overall three-year program to earn the Certified Tourism Executive nomination.

Students spend a week taking courses on topics such as marketing, management, and leadership. The press release states that university professors and industry CEOs, among others, will be teaching the courses.
