More than three in ten Americans plan to travel for this upcoming Labor Day weekend, according to a recently released TripAdvisor Opinion poll. That number could rise in the coming days, however, as 22 percent are undecided right now and a lot of travelers have opted for last-minute bookings lately – 70 percent of trips booked on Tripadvisor in the first week of August were trips within the next three weeks. When it comes to the top Labor Day destinations in 2021, domestic dominates: 86 percent plan to stay in the country and 45 percent travel locally by car or train.
