Locals and visitors alike can discover Delaware this summer with Southern Delaware Tourism’s Paddle and Stay and Bike and Stay packages.

This summer, locals and visitors alike can experience Delaware like never before with the Southern Delaware Tourism Office Paddle and stay and Ride a bike and stay Packages.

As mentioned in its press release, the tourist office is offering its visitors a package to stay overnight in one of the participating hotels and either paddle on one of the scenic waterways or cycle on one of the trails. In addition, participants will receive exclusive offers from local restaurants, breweries, distilleries and shops through the SouthDel Sidekick App.

After booking via the Bike and Stay app and checking in, participants receive a code with which they can access an interactive route map and receive special offers. Some of the local hiking trails include the Prime Hook Visitor Center to Foord’s Landing Trail, Cape Henlopen and Lighthouse Loop, and New Road to Savages Ditch Trail.

Interested parties can choose from a dozen participating hotels, such as Boardwalk Plaza Hotel in Rehoboth Beach or the Dogfish Inn Dog in Lewes. Those looking to explore the city can have a drink with friends at one of the local breweries like Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, Big Oyster Brewery, and Shorebreak Lodge.
