Tourism Minister Harry Theocharis is visiting Berlin today to boost the flow of tourists from Germany to Greece this summer.

Theocharis has a number of meetings with government officials as well as key representatives of the German tourism industry

The Greek minister will meet his German tourism counterpart, Thomas Bareiß.

He also meets with TUI executives.

The Minister of Tourism will then visit the headquarters of the German Travel Association, where he will hold talks with President Norbert Fiebig, CEO Dirk Inger and Director of Politics and Foreign Tourism Volker Adams.


It should be noted that the German tourism market is one of the most important for Greece.

In 2019, the arrivals of German tourists amounted to 4 million, which corresponds to three billion euros.

According to the schedule of his visit to Berlin, Theocharis will give interviews with German media and Greek correspondents.

After his visit to Germany is over, he will go to Poland.
