You already know that Pfister is one of the nicest hotels in Wisconsin. But did you also know that it is now one of only 11 hotels in North America that has the one AAA Four Diamond Designation for 45th consecutive year? The hotel has managed to earn this award every year since the program was launched in 1976.
Employees and well-wishers gathered in one of the hotel’s galleries yesterday to celebrate the groundbreaking occasion. And you can bet a couple of bottles of champagne broke out too.
The Pfister Hotel receives an AAA Four Diamond award
“We are very honored that the Pfister Hotel has again been recognized as an AAA Four Diamond Hotel,” said General Manager Tim Smith in a press release. “The Pfister is known for its many amenities, such as award-winning restaurants and spas, as well as its breathtaking historic architecture. But it is thanks to our fantastic team and their dedication to deliver exceptional guest experiences that have enabled us to maintain this award for almost half a century. “
“Earning an AAA Four Diamond award is not an easy task,” added Nick Jarmusz, director of public affairs at AAA. “We are very picky about the hotels we visit each year and we have high standards that all hotels adhere to, especially our Diamond hotels.”
AAA inspectors visit 27,000 North American hotels annually. And they award about 4.4% of the properties they visit with the coveted award of four diamonds.
