With lockdowns, especially in the rear-view mirror, commercial, culinary and cultural life across Europe is getting going again. Most attractions, including landmarks and museums, are open or scheduled to reopen within a few weeks. To take Paris, for example. More than 50 museums and exhibition venues are open, including the Louvre, Musee D’Orsay, and the Picasso and Rodin museums, as well as nearly a dozen castles, including Versailles. The Eiffel Tower will welcome guests again on July 16. Advance reservations may be required for many locations and opening times may be shorter. So check the websites in advance. The Louvre, for example informs museum visitors that “all visitors, including those with free entry, must book a time slot”.
