The conditions for foreign tourists entering Greece will change from June 7th.

How announced Deputy Civil Protection Minister Nikos Hardalias changes:

  • The test for entry into the country changes to 6 years and more instead of 5 years.
  • Isolation from case or close contacts for 10 and not 14 days.
  • Entry is possible with a 72-hour negative PCR or a vaccination card from Montenegro.
  • Outdoor tours are allowed for 20 people from 15 people, which has been the case until today.

Meanwhile, the Greek authorities announced on Friday that there had been 1,112 new cases of COVID-19 and 34 injured in the past 24 hours.

Six of the 1,112 cases involved travelers tested on arrival in Greece.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Greece is now 407,857 with 12,218 deaths.

A total of 445 patients remain intubated in intensive care units, while 2,491 have left the intensive care unit.

Hardalias had previously announced the release of a new interactive epidemiological map of every regional unit in Greece and every municipality on the islands regarding the alert level.
