Special Assembly of the Council

St. Helens City Council will have a special session tonight at 5:00 p.m. to discuss the city’s tourism program and be briefed on future events.

According to the city council’s agenda, the city has focused tourism investments on four major event programs in recent years. These events include 13 Nights by the River, July 4th, The Spirit of Halloweentown, and the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

In March 2019, the city signed a contract with E2C Productions, led by Tina Curry, for personal services to advise and manage city events. The agreement included annual compensation of $ 120,000.
