REDWOOD FALLS — Wrestling team Dawson-Boyd/Lac qui Parle Valley/Montevideo United recorded a trio of double wins at Tuesday’s Redwood Valley Invite, defeating Redwood Valley 60-12, New London-Spicer 40-33 and MAHACA 34 :33 .

Against Redwood Valley, Ben Gunlogson won by decision, Daniel Gunlogson by sudden win, Kameron Sather, Zander Clausen, Mason McDougal, Holt Larson and Keaton Haas by renunciation and Ethan Moravetz, Tyler Schickedanz, Landon Olson and Zach DeBeer by fall for United.

Against NLS, Sather won by big decision, Clausen and Avery Wittnebel won by decision, Daniel Gunlogson and Moravetz won by renunciation and Olson, DeBeer and Haas won for United in the autumn.

Against MAHACA, United and MAHACA were tied 33-33 after 285 pounds, but United won via tiebreaker. Sather won by surrender, Daniel Gunlogson and Haas won by fall and Clausen, Wittnebel, Larson, Olson and DeBeer won by decision for United.

BENSON — The Wabasso wrestling team went 1-2 at Tuesday’s Benson Invite, defeating BOLD 48-32 and falling to Benson 51-15 and Minnewaska Area 58-18.

Against BOLD, Nathan Riley, Kaysen Harms, Gavin Marotzke, Ezekiel Olson, and Wyatt Irlbeck won by waiver, and Mikale Goblirsch, Chase Irlbeck, and Sam Welch won by fall for Wabasso.

Against Benson, Harms and Goblirsch won by fall while Chase Irlbeck won by decision for Wabasso.

Harms, Chase Irlbeck and Welch won for Wabasso in the fall against the Minnewaska Area.
