TUI Cruises has announced that it will be sailing with Mein Schiff 1 from Kiel to Norway on August 22nd. According to Norwegian regulations, all adults on board, passengers and crew must be fully vaccinated. The test is compulsory for children aged four and over.

TUI Cruises said that the buffet meal service and the sauna will be reintroduced for vaccinated passengers.

Passengers can also take part in organized excursions or go on their own excursions.

According to the shipping company, the vaccination rate of its passengers is already over 70 percent, and the trend is rising. The current measures include a rapid antigen test for all guests before embarkation and disembarkation. Face masks are only worn when social distancing is not an option, such as in elevators. Cruises to Norway are limited to a maximum of 2,000 people on board, including passengers and crew.

The TUI Cruises ships in use include Mein Schiff 2, Mein Schiff 4 and Mein Schiff 5, which are sailing in the Mediterranean; My ship 3 sails in the Baltic Sea; and Mein Schiff 6 are due to start their service in Bremerhaven at the end of July.
