The new pre-screening process will be introduced for customers traveling on United’s 110 weekly flights to Hawaii.

United also makes it easier to find the right tests to avoid this Hawaiis 14-day quarantine by providing approved COVID-19 tests to all customers traveling to the islands, regardless of where in the US their trip begins.

To start the pre-approval program, customers sign up Hawaiis Safe travel program and complete Hawaiis COVID-19 questionnaire within 24 hours of departure. Next, customers use the Safe Travels website to upload their negative test results from one of the following websites Hawaiis trustworthy test partners who must be enrolled within 72 hours of their departure. At the airport, customers check a United team member at the gate for their flight Hawaii There they will be given a wristband if they qualify to bypass airport control Hawaii. Customers previously approved can skip test screenings Hawaii and begin their journey as soon as they land.

United is also making it easier for customers to get approved COVID-19 testing options by expanding mail-in testing to customers regardless of where their travel in the United States came from. The airline will notify customers of theirs in advance Hawaii Travel to let them know what testing options they have on site. Last year, United has also partnered with XpresCheck Open additional test facilities for United customers at selected airports on the same day.
