Bad news for all avid cruise lines: cruise lines continue to extend their suspensions until 2021 as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.
The cruise industry initially experienced a quiet period after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention published and expanded theirs Order without sails when the coronavirus pandemic began to rise in 2020. But after months of waiting, in October, the CDC replaced his mandatory sailing break with the “Framework for Conditional Sailing Order”. a list of the stringent requirements required for cruise lines to resume operations.

Princess cruises originally paused his travels through March, according to a communication dated November 20, 2020. However on 6th JanuaryThe cruise line extended this timeline and announced that it would suspend further cruises until May 14th.

For a full list of suspended sailing dates per ship, see available on Carnival’s website. According to this list no carnival Cruises will set sail until after March 31, although some ships will remain docked in the future. According to a press release dated January 6th.
For example after a Press release from December 9, 2020, carnival has set up dry docks for Carnival Magic, Carnival Paradise and Carnival Valor and has thus stopped embarkation of the ships until September 24th, May 31st and September 11th respectively.
“We are sorry to disappoint our guests as we can see from our booking activity that there is clearly a pent-up demand for cruises on Carnival,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, in a statement in the press release.
The upcoming first carnival trip was also pushed back as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Royal Caribbean International
royal caribbean originally suspended its cruise travel until February 28, according to a December 17th update. The only exceptions are that Quantum of the Seas Ship in Singapore and Spectrum of seas Ship in china.
According to a study, Royal Caribbean’s Celebrity Cruises line has also canceled all trips originally planned until April 30th Update on January 12th. Some other Celebrity Cruises trips continued to be suspended until October.
