Wabash took an early lead against Anderson University in a home game at Fischer Field on Tuesday evening. The Little Giants scored four goals in the first half en route to a 5-0 win over the away Ravens.

Wabash (4-2) scored the seventh goal of the season from the team scoring leader Coledon Johnson in the first 1:26 of the competition. Johnson took a pass from Alexis Delgado and found the back of the net to put the Little Giants 1-0 ahead. Johnson struck again four minutes later when Adam Berg found Austin Hughes on the left of the attack. Hughes gave Johnson a perfect pass through the box to set up the second goal of the game.

Ben Wallace jumped into the scorers list with his first career goal in the 28th minute. Wallace dribbled past Anderson’s defense (2-4) and hit the Ravens goalkeeper to give Wabash a 3-0 lead.

The Little Giants scored one last goal in the first half. Jordan Donsky scored his second goal of the season with a pass into the box from Yuma Ozaki in the 36th minute for a 4-0 lead at halftime.

Ozaki scored his first goal as the Little Giant in the 75th place.

Michael Bertram earned the win for Wabash in goal. He played for the Little Giants for the first 45 minutes and saw no shot on goal. Henry Giesel played goalkeeper in the second half and recorded three saves.

Wabash will travel to Hannover College on Saturday at 2 p.m. before heading home to Grinnell College on Sunday at 2 p.m.
