ROCKFORD (WREX) – Winnebago’s track and field team brought home a section championship and as a team collected 153 team points to finish in first place.

In high school softball, Sycamore won a regional championship over Belvidere with a score of 11-7. Harlem also won their regional game against DeKalb, 6-1, behind Cheyenne Nietz’s triple homer in the first inning. North Boone fell to Johnsburg, 4-2 in their regional championship.
