Choice Hotels has appointed a new regional vice president for franchise sales development for the Ascent Hotel Collection, the company announced this week.
Choice Hotels has brought Glenn Gordon to the role of leading the brand’s growth in the Southeast US and the Caribbean.
This includes the procurement of new projects and securing new franchise agreements.
The Ascend Collection currently has two Caribbean objects, both of which are located in the Dominican Republic.
It’s a return to the company for Gordon, who previously worked for the Choices Franchise Sales Development Team, along with roles at Value Place, Wyndham and StayAPT Suites.
In a statement, Choice said the move would help “advance the company’s business priorities and drive growth”.
