During the Board of Osage County Commissioners’ meeting Monday, Randall Jones, District One Commissioner, asked Tourism Director Kelly Bland questions about the manner in which the Tourism Board meetings are held. Jones was at the meeting and noticed a lack of notes throughout the meeting.
Bland said she was on a Zoom call with the American Bus Association for the first part of the meeting and sent an email saying they would have to start without them. She had asked Secretary Claude Rosendale to keep these minutes. Rosendale gave Bland a copy of the transcript, which Jones later received.
During the meeting, the tourism committee approved a draft budget for the coming financial year. The Board of Osage County Commissioners will review and possibly approve this budget once the legal team has time to review it.
