According to Bland, the increase is a direct result of the digital advertising campaign that the commissioners approved a year ago. This advertising campaign is designed to drive people to the Osage County Tourism website. There you will find all accommodation options in the entire district. Bland talks about how the tourism authority has made decisions about how to spend their advertising dollars.
Bland added that the county has seen record visitor records at various events, even in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
