Canada announced on Friday that all commercial air travelers, cruise ship passengers and inter-provincial train passengers will soon need to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

According to a government, the new mandate will come into force in autumn this year, or by the end of October at the latest Press release.

The government will also require that employees in the state-regulated air, rail, and sea transportation sectors be vaccinated.

“There are enough doses in Canada so that anyone across the country can be fully vaccinated,” said Health Minister Patty Hajdu. “By getting vaccinated, you are protecting yourself, your family and your community … If you have not yet been vaccinated, please plan.”
