The people of Harbin, Capital of the northeast China Heilongjiang Provincestarted sending greetings through online platforms in a unique way to their relatives and friends who want to spend the Spring Festival elsewhere.

On February 4th, the “Little New Year” in the Chinese lunar calendar, Harbin launched an online event themed “Let’s Laugh Together”. The organizers released several posters of the Spring Festival and creative emojis with landmarks and winter attractions of Harbinto express sincere greetings and good wishes from the “City of Ice and Snow”.

To meet people’s demand for cultural products and services during the Spring Festival, Harbin has organized more than 200 online cultural activities in four categories: cloud performance, cloud exhibition, cloud tourism and live streaming. Though miles apart, people can enjoy high quality original dramas, ballets, evening galas, and orchestral concerts online without leaving their homes. In addition, traditional festival activities such as folk dancing, folklore lectures and lantern puzzles are put online.

The Yingjie Snow Dreamland full of rural atmosphere and the European-style Sunac Snow Park attract visitors with their fascinating charm.
