As a tribute to the generosity of nature on this World Environment Day, ITC Hotels has launched an innovative and carefully curated feel-good menu that focuses on responsible sourcing and is rich in goodness. Designed to highlight Vocal for Local’s initiative, it offers tasty recipes that have been carefully selected and carefully prepared. It underlines the philosophy of ITC Hotels Responsible Luxury and is committed to strengthening local products and handicraft products “Made in India”.

The Feel Good range supports local farmers and producers, reduces the environmental impact and helps to minimize the carbon footprint. The new feel-good menu on the gourmet couch is a natural further development for ITC Hotels, which adhere to their decades-long philosophy of “Responsible Luxury”. ITC Hotels have pioneered several culinary experiences in the industry. The commitment to local and seasonal ingredients has been around for decades and has found more relevance in today’s circumstances.

From healthy grains and flax seeds, amaranth and chia muffins and croissants to a much deeper integration of the old goodness, the Feel Good menu emphasizes the old practice of slow cooking using local and seasonal ingredients. Slowly but steadily, the guests are realizing that immunity has to be a way of life and thus the awareness of including feel-good ingredients in their diet.

Manisha Bhasin, Corporate Executive Chef, ITC Hotels, said, “The Feel Good Menu focuses on authenticity, responsible sourcing, healthy ingredients and craftsmanship. The dishes are prepared with forgotten grains and superfoods according to age-old cooking methods that correspond to the ethos of ITC Hotels from Responsible Luxury. The feel-good menu offers a la carte options as well as combo meals “

Some of the ingredients used are freshly squeezed mustard oil – high in monounsaturated and omega-3 fatty acids, jackfruit – known for its antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, raw turmeric, cardamom, drumstick leaves, sorghum, basil, barley, gooseberry and mangoes to name a few. These are rich in a variety of vitamins, magnesium, iron, act as antioxidants and help improve metabolism.

Immune-boosting preparations such as Kachchi Haldi ka Pulao, Mulathi Ki Phirni, Murgh Moringa with the goodness of the drumstick leaf, Amla Ki Launji with Indian gooseberries, which strengthen immunity, find a place in the feel-good menu. The menu uses the freshest condiments by making sure they are hand whipped to preserve the essential oils. The guests of the ITC Hotels can rely on a culinary experience that not only makes them feel good, but also helps to reduce the carbon footprint.

At Zomato, Swiggy and EazyDiner, guests can place their orders daily from 11.30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. The Feel Good menu can also be ordered via the gourmet couch in the ITC Hotels F&B app, to take away in the hotels or directly through the hotels.
