CHENNAI: ITC Hotels is the first hotel chain in the world to receive platinum certification from ITC Hotels here, according to a statement from Det Norske Veritas (DNV), an international risk management and certification company as part of its risk management program “My Care Infection” . DNV’s “My Care” certification program is developed worldwide by a team of infection risk and hospital management experts.
The program’s maturity model (Levels 1 to 5) evaluates and covers all facets of hotel operations in six different dimensions: governance, strategy, communication, measures, data analysis and continuous improvement, ”says the press release. ITC Hotels received worldwide certification for its ‘WeAssure’ program.
“The ‘WeAssure’ Business Assurance certification is a testament to the rigorous health, hygiene and safety protocols that are implemented to ensure the safety of guests and employees in all ITC hotels,” the statement said. ITC Hotels has also implemented various pathogen prevention measures by introducing world class infection control technologies and redefining service delivery processes.
