HONOLULU (KHON2) – Thousands of people come to the islands every day.
Officials want to make sure travelers adhere to COVID-19 emergency rules.

Attorney General Special Agents conducted quarantine compliance checks at 10 Waikiki hotels on Friday.
Officials say these checks are meant to educate travelers and touch base during their quarantine period.
Follow these steps to bypass Hawaii’s 10-day quarantine
According to official figures, there have been 55 arrests for violating self-quarantine on Oahu since the pandemic.
The quarantine checks will continue until the order is canceled.
