TUCKER, Ga. – DeKalb police are investigating after a social check at an extended-stay hotel in Tucker on Saturday uncovered a deceased victim.
According to Officer Elise Wells, officials were called to 1795 Crescent Center Boulevard, the address of a Studio 6 extended stay hotel, to report that a person had died.
The hotel management called the police after the victim, whose identity was not yet known, was found during a check. Officer Wells had no additional information about the nature of the death, whether it was a foul or whether the homicide squad was involved.
Wells said the investigation is still ongoing.
