Campeche, Camp., (April 2nd, 2021) .- Wedding tourism is gaining strength in Campeche as people have turned around now that the state is at a green light and this represents a dispersion of the economy across all sectors.
In this regard, the Campeche State Tourism Ministry (Sectur) reported that wedding tourism was gradually being reactivated after being hit hardest by the pandemic.
Weddings take place in the state, but always with the consent and approval of the Campeche Health Protection Commission (Copriscam). If the wedding or social event is approved, the organizers need to look to the maximum amount of support allowed and emphasize responsibility.
He added that other states have banned weddings and avoided wedding tourism, but Campeche has had some weddings with very low attendance. In fact, many artists and / or celebrities have brought their wedding events to Campeche, usually at old haciendas or farms.
According to the government agency, these events benefit hotels, shopping malls, restaurants, beaches, farms, and other local services.
