TO UPDATE: Police identified a man from Durango, Mexico, as the victim of the shooting found Monday at a hotel near El Paso Airport.
However, investigators said they believe 29-year-old Edgar Gurrolla Reyes was actually shot elsewhere – and not at the Comfort Inn, where they found him.
Reyes was hospitalized at the university hospital, where police said he was being treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Following earlier reports of a suspect being detained after the early morning shooting, police said Monday afternoon that no arrests had been made.
