Palisociety has announced plans to launch Hotel Grand Stark that maybe. The hotel is located in the Central Eastside neighborhood and is the brand’s second hotel in the Pacific Northwest. It expands its growing independent collection portfolio. ((Palihotel Seattle debuted in Washington in 2018.)
Hotel Grand Stark is a four-story building dating back to 1906 and has a number of public common areas, including a study room attached to the lobby. The central gallery-style lobby is populated by a mix of custom-made furniture and vintage pieces, and features art installations against a neutral backdrop. F&B options include the Grand Stark Deli and Chamberlain Bar.
Each of the hotel’s 57 light and airy rooms show off the building’s original light wooden floors, playful millwork, and light blue walls. Layered textiles with floral, tartan and woven patterns give every room warmth in a living style. King, Queen and Double rooms have their own work area and. cozy seating areas.
“Portland has been one of our favorite cities for years and we long imagined it to be the perfect new home for Palisociety,” says Palisociety’s founder and CEO Avi brosh. “We are excited to be part of the city’s highly independent spirit and to develop it further along the way by delving into what makes Portland historically unique.”
Hotel Grand Stark marks Palisociety’s second opening in 2021 – after debuting in March of Palihouse Santa Barbara.
