The state-of-the-art superyacht Emerald Azzurra, the 10th vessel in the company’s fleet, will embark on her maiden voyage in March 2022, while the line’s second superyacht, Emerald Sakara, is scheduled to enter service in early 2023.

Qatar is looking to expand its cruise sector, with the cruise season running from October to April. A new Grand Cruise Terminal will soon open in central Doha, offering more capacity and new tourist attractions.

Qatar will also host the 2022 FIFA World Cup which is scheduled for November.
