When the Ridgecrest City Council meets on July 7th, it will hear the annual Ridgecrest Tourism Improvement Report. This is a consent calendar item.

Perhaps the brief agenda also includes a proclamation on Homelessness Awareness Month.

The approval calendar includes reports for a drainage benefit assessment district and a consolidated lighting and landscaping district as well as a completion notice for Phase I of the ADA transition plan project and a completion notice for the sewer investigation project.

The council will also discuss two potential contracts with Willdan Engineering, Inc. – one for nearly $ 70,000 to plan and construct the town hall solar expansion and bus shading structure and charging station project, and one for just over $ 41,000 to work in the Relation to the Bowman Canal between South Norma Street and South China Lake Boulevard.

The council will also hear a first reading of a regulation amending the municipal code as it relates to the definitions of the zone code.
