TAFER Hotels & Resorts, a forward-thinking leisure and hospitality company with an award-winning collection of resorts, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Sasa Milojevic as Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Milojevic brings more than 25 years of industry experience to his new position and will help TAFER Hotels & Resorts expand its luxury hotel and real estate portfolio, adapt to upcoming sales trends and further improve the company’s excellent customer service.
Sasa is an accomplished operations and business strategist who has worked with well-known hotel brands and has extensive experience managing all aspects of hotel, condominium and spa operations, opening new hotels, developing business and strategy, implementing successful marketing programs and has creation of efficient strategies for corporate communication. His background includes an excellent track record in the areas of sales and profit optimization, quality assurance, sales and marketing management.
In his new role as COO of TAFER Hotels & Resorts, Sasa will oversee the existing hotel and property operations and development, sales and marketing department and set up a new business development department to create new opportunities for the company’s continued growth.
Previously, Sasa was Global President of Hotel Operations and CEO for the Mexico, LATAM and Caribbean regions at Karisma Hotels & Resorts. During his eleven years at Karisma, he successfully led the company’s organizational transformation and played an essential role in expanding its hotel portfolio by opening more than 20 properties in 6 different countries. During his tenure, he was responsible for 30 hotels and resorts across 12 brands, and under his operational oversight, a number of properties have received the highest accolades in the industry, from Best Boutique Hotel Chain by Travel Weekly to Best All Inclusive Luxury Chain by Conde Nast Traveler Readers Choice Awards and AAA Five Diamond Awards. Previously, Sasa was COO of the Buenaventura Hotels Corporation. He began his career in 1995 at Allegro Resorts, where he worked his way up and gained valuable leadership experience in the industry.
