Ranging from bright colors to simple and minimalist, these eye-catching guest rooms can be inspiration for those designing bedrooms in hospitality projects or at home.

This is the latest round-up in our These lookbooks Series that provides visual inspiration for the home. Previous lookbooks included Interiors that use color theory, Japandi living room and Roof extension.

Hotel Monville, Canada by ACDF Architecture

That monochrome Room at the Hotel Monville in Montreal Stick to a two-tone theme with black and white accents.

Local company ACDF architecture designed the hotel rooms in a largely muted palette, including gray carpets and subtle lighting from another local studio Lambert & Fils. Oak headboards and chairs light up the otherwise dark room.

Shaker-informed hotel facility

Círculo Mexicano, Mexico, from Ambrosi Etchegaray

The architects Ambrosi Etchegaray created rooms without ornaments Mexico City Hotel that is oriented towards the shaker“Minimal attitude to life.

Círculo Mexicano’s bedrooms adopt this style with a series of blocky wooden plinths that form the rooms’ tables, cupboards and bed frames. There are also terracotta barrel vaulted ceilings in some bedrooms.

A hotel room designed by Soho House

The Ned, England, from Soho House

Private Members Club Soho house created 252 spacious rooms in the Ned Hotel, which is located in a bank designed by Edwin Lutyens.

A vintage feeling permeates the guest rooms, which are shaped by the design of the 1920s and 1930s.

Brass and mahogany furniture contrast with mustard-colored couches and large four-poster beds, while richly patterned drapes and pillows are mirrored in decadent chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.

Vintage pastel colored hotel room decor

Whitworth Locke, England, from Grzywinski + Pons

Studio in New York Grzywinski + Pons used vintage poster Promotion of international trade between Manchester and “warmer and brighter corners of the globe” as a design specification for the rooms in this hotel based in the English city.

The rooms at Whitworth Locke are decorated in picturesque pastel colors from the 19th century. Exposed brick walls are painted salmon pink, while gold sconces add pistachio green accents and illustrate monochrome bedding.

Hotel Saint Vincent

Hotel Saint Vincent, USA, by Lambert McGuire Design

Gray bedroom at the Hotel Saint Vincent in New Orleans reflect the terrifying legacy of the building, converted from a 19th century children’s home.

Austin-based Lambert McGuire Design has chosen to paint the walls and ceilings of the rooms a dark gray tone to reflect the gloomy atmosphere of the hotel.

Red velvet upholstery compensates for the gray walls, combined with unusual color accents such as strong yellow telephones.

Eaton DC, USA, from Gachot Studios and Parts and Labor Design

Worn pieces like Himalayan salt lamps and brightly colored textiles add to this Washington, DC Hotel that retro Bedrooms that reject the luxury style of city accommodation.

New York studios Gachot Studios and Part and labor design created the hotel’s eclectic bedroom interior.

Barceló Torre de Madrid by Jaime Hayón

Barceló Torre de Madrid, Spain, by Jaime Hayón

Spanish designer Jaime Hayón brought his unmistakably playful style to the rooms of the Barceló Torre de Madrid, a lively hotel in the Spanish city.

Best known for his recurring animal images, Hayón added pieces like his monkey table, a humorous cartoon monkey made out of concrete resin Side table up to the quirky rooms of the hotel. The designer’s catch chairs and pallet tables are also featured, while abstract gold lion motifs adorn large mirrors above the guest beds.

Palm Heights, Grand Cayman, by Gabriella Khalil

1970s Caribbean Villas shaped the atmosphere of Palm Heights, a hotel on the island of Grand Cayman designed by interior designer Gabriella Khalil.

The hotel’s rooms have an eclectic mix of materials, including light Italian stone floors and a combination of yellow and blue tones designed to mimic the colors of the beach. Neutral white walls complement the natural light of the rooms and compensate for their thicker upholstery.

Many of the rooms at the Hotel Valley in Scottsdale, Arizona, remodeled by architect Edward L. Varney, features freestanding bathtubs positioned against bright yellow walls.

The bedrooms are decorated in neutral colors terrace Floor tiles that soften the deep burgundy lounge chairs from the American design company hill.
