Turkey is finishing up vaccination of its tourism workers

The Turkish Ministry of Health in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism & Culture has now fully started the vaccination process. This is intended for employees in the travel and tourism sector so that visitors can be sure that they are traveling in the coming summer Turkey.

The world Vaccination programs are happening everywhere right now as there is a rush to get one step ahead of the coronavirus and defeat it. As more and more destinations are set to open to vaccinated travelers, Turkey has gone one step further to ensure that its citizens employed in the tourism business are vaccinated. The vaccination campaign currently under way in the nation is aimed at employees of airports, airlines, travel agents and accommodations. Vaccination is also given to professional guides. Turkey intends to complete the vaccination program right from the start of the summer season this year.

The vaccination program is part of the Country Safe Tourism Certification program, which aims to enable international travelers to travel the country safely.

The Safe Tourism Certification Program is currently hailed as one of the most successful programs of its kind in the world. As part of this program, Turkey has stipulated that accommodations with more than 30 rooms must become part of the program and be certified. To date, the nation has certified 8,000 such facilities.

This will surely ease the worries of travelers who are willing to do so vacation in the country this summer.
