Vacation Inn Resort Goa and Essentia Motels and Resorts appoints Jayanthi Okay as Director Of Gross sales and MarCom – Operations

Jayanthi K joins Holiday Inn Resort Goa (IHG) and Essentia Hotels and Resorts (a unit of Averina International Resorts Limited) as Director of Sales and MarCom.

In her new role, Jayanthi will be on the broad agenda for both brands – Holiday Inn Resort Goa (IHG) and Essentia Hotels & Resorts (a unit of Averina International Hotels) – to drive the business by developing sales strategies for various market segments that aim to optimize hotel revenue. She will lead the sales and marketing team, identify business opportunities and achieve the hotel’s commercial goals.

Jayanthi brings over 11 years of extensive hospitality experience and has worked with renowned Indian and international hotel brands such as Marriott International, Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG), Oakwood Hotels and Royal Orchid Hotels, to name a few.

Prior to joining Holiday Inn Resort Goa and Essentia Hotels & Resorts (a unit of Averina International Resorts Ltd), Jayanthi contributed immensely to sales growth at the Holiday Inn Bengaluru Racecourse (IHG) and the Sheraton Grand at Brigade Gateway (Marriott International). Her ability to build meaningful connections with clients and human resource management skills has been demonstrated throughout her career with numerous accolades and achievements for her name.

Known for her innovative methodology and business expertise, Jayanthi will lead the entire sales and marketing department, including space sales, banquet and events, as well as public relations and communications. It will be instrumental in accelerating the hotel’s revenue growth prospects.
