Understand the recommendations and requirements for COVID-19 testing for domestic or international travel.

Of: Norton Healthcare • Sent: August 4, 2021

If you are fully vaccinated – two weeks after your last COVID-19 vaccination – the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention does not recommend having a COVID-19 test before you travel domestically or international unless your goal requires it.

MyNortonChart tests and vaccination records

You can access your COVID-19 testing and vaccination logs through your free and secure one My NortonChart account.

Before you travel, download the MyChart app and get vaccinated. If your goal requires a negative test result and you get one, it will be recorded on your phone.

In some countries, a negative test is required before entry. Check with your airline or the US State Department country-specific COVID-19 information. If you don’t meet the entry requirements, you may need to return to the United States.

Tests are recommended but are usually not required for domestic travel if you are not vaccinated.

If you need evidence of a negative test, your documented results are about your safe MyNortonChart Account. Rapid test results appear within 24 hours. If you need to access your child’s recordings, sign up for Proxy access ahead of the times.

Norton Immediate Care Center and Norton Prompt Care at Walgreens locations can issue a formal letter confirming your negative test if your international destination requires it.

All travelers must have one Mask over the mouth and nose throughout their journey. And before returning to the US from any other country, you will need to take a COVID-19 test.
