The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, Fuji Speedway, Japan

Hyatt Hotels Corporation will provide a luxury hotel experience on Japan’s historic Fuji Speedway after signing a management agreement with a Toyota Group subsidiary for a proposed 120-key property. The new building, currently under construction, is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2022 and marks The Unbound Collection’s debut in Japan.

Equipment at The Unbound Collection from Hyatt, Fuji Speedway are to include several gourmet restaurants, bars, a spa and natural onsen, fitness center and indoor swimming pool, banquet hall and conference room. Because of its setting, the property will also have a car museum showing rare vehicles and the extraordinary history of the circuit.

Currently under construction and slated to open in the second quarter of 2022, this new Caption by Hyatt Tennessee hotel will encourage guests to express themselves in a space focused on experience and connection. Hyatt is building this 140-key property, located on One Beale Street and integrated into the historic main building of Wm C Ellis & Sons Ironworks and Machine Shop, in partnership with Carlisle, while HBG Design – Memphis and Cooper Carry – New York are working on the architectural design.

Caption from Hyatt Memphis will be housed partly in this Grade II listed building and partly in a new guest room tower that overlooks the Mississippi and the city skyline. Visitors are encouraged to relax in the hotel’s multifunctional lounge area, the talk shop, with original features, a spacious terrace and a double-height beer garden with open fire pits.

Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

The 150 key Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu, developed by Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad, welcomes guests in the heart of the city in a location that provides easy access to the business district, shopping districts and countless restaurants, as well as local attractions such as Jesselton Point Pier.

The architecture and interior design of this property is led by Kengo Kuma & Associates, inspired by the lush green hills and blue ocean that characterize the area. Notable amenities include an all-day dining restaurant and lounge, rooftop pool and bar, fitness center, and 1,900 square feet of conference space.

The hotel, which is currently under construction, is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2022.
