The Tennessee Volunteers are an emerging program under Josh Heupel

One team that has an outside perspective to land Evans is the Tennessee Volunteers. Under senior coach Josh Heupel, they have massively surpassed. While the Vols are still a few years away from serious fighting in the SEC East, the landing of a playmaker of Evans’ caliber could speed things up. However, Heupel could be a candidate to replace Lincoln Riley at his alma mater Oklahoma.

Ole Miss Rebels Football

The Ole Miss Rebels are now a 10-win program under Lane Kiffin in their sophomore year

As in Tennessee, another SEC school Evans attended before signing up to TCU was Ole Miss. This was before Lane Kiffin’s first season at Oxford. Now that the sophomore year is a bowl game, the Rebels are a 10-2 team and destined for the New Years Six. An elite running back might help Ole Miss win SEC West, but Kiffin could potentially go to the LSU gig.

While Ole Miss and Tennessee would be great landing spots for Evans, these other three have to be favorites to land him this time.
