Section V Boys Lacrosse Class C Semifinals were held at Canandaigua Academy on Friday night. In the first game, the HFL Cougars took down the Wayne Eagles to earn a spot in the championship game. In the other semifinal, the Pal-Mac Red Raiders took down the Geneva Panthers by a score of 20-10.

Pal-Mac’s Mike Halsey struck first when his marker put Pal-Mac up with 9:40 remaining in the first half. The first quarter would prove to be low-scoring, with the Red Raiders leading 3-2 after 1 quarter. The Red Raiders would control the remainder of the game, pulling out a 20-10 victory to head to the finals.

The Honeoye Falls-Lima Cougars and the Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders will square off in the Class C Championship on Tuesday, May 31st. The opening draw is scheduled for 7:30 pm at Canandaigua Academy.
