Goa CM Pramod Sawant pledged to reduce the burden on charter flights with some of the parking and landing fees at Dabolim International Airport

Goa Prime Minister Pramod Sawant promised regularization of unauthorized homes, loans for the tourism sector, a pilgrimage program for the elderly, support for those involved in traditional professions and a mining company on Wednesday when he presented a boom £25,000 crore.

Sawant promised to launch a tourism trade support program that would allow all registered category hotels and travel and tour operators to receive an interest subsidy on work loans of up to £25 lakh.

He promised to reduce the burden of charter flights by taking some of the parking and landing fees at Dabolim International Airport. Sawant also promised to cut the infrastructure tax on new builds to 30% for six months to boost the sector.

Opposition leader Digambar Kamat criticized the budget, saying there was nothing that could stimulate the economy and help the marginalized sector within it.
