The Valencia Hotel Group’s collection of retro-inspired court-style hotels, including the Texican Court in Irving, TX, the Lone Star Court in Austin, TX, the Cavalry Court in College Station, TX, and the newly opened Cotton Court in Lubbock , TX, celebrated the arrival of spring with philanthropic happy hour programs tailored for individuals and their four-legged friends.

In March and April, the Texas Barks & Brews courthouses hosted a pet-friendly happy hour with dog treats and discounted beers on the restaurant’s terraces and in the spacious courtyards – including outdoor fire pits, lawn games, and more. Valencia Hotel Group generated a percentage of its revenue from drinks sold and donated the money back to their communities by working with animal-centric nonprofits in each city.

Barks & Brews raised over $ 2,000 in just 2 months and will be funding the selection of nonprofits across the state over the next several weeks. Barks & Brews beneficiaries include: DFW Humane Society, Haven Animal Care Shelter, Aggieland Humane Society, and Austin Humane Society.

“One of our core values at Valencia Hotel Group is to connect our hotels with the communities in which we are built,” said Amy Trench, corporate director, branding and public relations. “Our hotels have a proven track record of giving back through special events and promotions, including Barks & Brews.”
