The debut of the Kempinski Hotel Jinan, a luxury 314-key hotel designed by Wimberly Interiors, marks the entry of Kempinski Hotels into China’s Shandong Province.

The 21st Kempinski Hotel in China offers guests easy access to the shops of the new financial hub of Springs City and the Hanyu Financial Valley.

Check in to Shandong

Kempinski Hotel Jinan is at the top of the towering Yuding building. Here guests can experience the history and culture of this region while enjoying the hospitality of the famous brand.

“As the capital of Shandong Province, Jinan is an economic and cultural center of the region,” said Christian Wiendieck, General Manager of the Kempinski Hotel Jinan. “It has a unique and convenient location, just a 30-minute drive from Yaoqiang International Airport. In addition to the terminal building in the city, our guests can check in here directly and get to the airport quickly. “

Michael Henssler, COO for Asia Kempinski Hotels and General Manager of Key International Hotels Management Co, added, “We are very excited to expand the presence of Kempinski Hotels in the historic city of Jinan. We are honored to partner with Jinan Hi-Tech Holding Group on this ambitious project and we look forward to working together to bring luxury stays in Shandong to life. “

Inspired by nature

Located south of the Yellow River, Jinan is known for both its natural artesian springs and culture. Wimberly Interiors designed the new hotel to reflect the hotel’s attractive surroundings, backed up by a lush palette of emerald greens and golds; These colors and the contemporary style of the interior are then combined with inspiration from traditional “Six Arts” elements that incorporate rites, music, archery, chariot races, calligraphy and arithmetic into the narrative process.

The Kempinski Hotel Jinan houses a total of 314 guest rooms and suites on floors 55 to 70, complete with amenities such as walk-in closets, dining areas, work areas and deluxe beds – and French windows make every room’s city view optimal.

In addition, Kempinski The Spa with an infinity pool as well as a fitness room and a yoga room is to be opened at a later date on the 51st floor. The hotel also has six restaurants and bars, including The View, which serves Shandong cuisine at 53 Deli.

The hotel now has 3,600 m² of event space, including seven banquet rooms and multifunctional conference rooms. The Yunding banquet hall alone covers 1,200 m² and the roof garden a total of 1,600 m².
