HVMG and Essex have added new properties to their management portfolios.
HVMG adds two properties in Orlando
Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), an Atlanta-based private hotel management and investment company, has opened the 195-room Residence Inn Near Universal Orlando and the 160-room Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando International Drive / Convention Center.
The five story Residence Inn Near Universal Orlando is close to other family-friendly destinations like Walt Disney World Resorts and SeaWorld. As a Universal Partner Hotel, hotel guests can enjoy a shuttle service to and from Universal Orlando as well as discounted merchandise and F&B specials.
Hotel amenities include a daily complimentary continental breakfast, 548 square feet of event space, a full-service business center, 24-hour fitness center, putting green, and outdoor pool. Large studio suites with 1 and 2 bedrooms offer guests spacious dining bars, fully equipped kitchens, smart TVs with streaming functions and separate lounge areas.
The five story Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando International Drive / Convention Center is near SeaWorld, Universal Orlando Resort, Orlando Convention Center, and Disney World Resort in the I-Drive area. The rooms have a 37-inch flat screen HDTV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator, and utensils, and an oversized work area with multiple outlets and two-line phones with voicemail. A free breakfast of fresh Florida orange juice is also served daily.
Essex Hotel Management expands Hampton Inn & Suites Plattsburgh
Essex Hotel Management, LLC has added the Hampton Inn & Suites Plattsburgh in Plattsburgh, NY to its growing portfolio of branded properties on the east coast.
The 94-room home is located in the Adirondack Coast area of New York, which stretches across the west bank of Lake Champlain in the shadow of the Adirondack Mountains. Known for its four seasons, the region offers guests something to do all year round, be it kayaking in the summer or fishing on Lake Champlain; Autumn apple harvest at Chazy Orchards, the largest Macintosh apple orchard in the world; Skiing on Whiteface Mountain in winter; or spring or any season of the year hiking in Adirondack Park, which has more than 2,000 miles of hiking trails.
The property is close to numerous restaurants, breweries, and wineries in the downtown area. Home to the State University of New York Plattsburgh, Plattsburgh International Airport, Plattsburgh Air Force Base Museum, and Airborne Speedway, Plattsburgh is an hour from Montreal.
Renovation of the property’s guest rooms and common areas is slated to begin in the first quarter of 2022, which is also overseen by Essex.
The Hampton Inn & Suites Plattsburgh will be the fourth hotel to join Essex’s management portfolio in 2021. Other hotels added this year include the Fairfield Inn & Suites Stony Creek, the Hampton Inn Orlando / Lake Buena Vista, and the Courtyard Rochester Downtown. The hotel portfolio of the hotel management company now comprises 13 hotels.
