MILWAUKEE – A lot of preparations are in progress for the Bucks-Suns NBA Finals games in Milwaukee. Hotel rooms and venues are booked quickly.

Visitors and locals want to be as close as possible to the action for Game 3 this Sunday and Game 4 next Wednesday. To prove it, simply contact a Milwaukee hotel.

Bucks fans, Suns fans, and international media looking to stay overnight in Milwaukee at the last minute for Game 3 this weekend hear a lot:

“We’re already sold out,” says Greta McCue, Director of Sales for Aloft Milwaukee Downtown.

“We are sold out, but there can be cancellations here and there,” said Michael Dietrich, General Manager of the Kinn Guesthouse.

This includes everything from large brand name hotels to smaller, independent hotels like the Kinn Guesthouse in Milwaukee’s Bay View area.

“We currently have guests who have tickets for the upcoming home game, and they come from San Francisco,” said Dietrich. “You have a family in Milwaukee too. In all honesty, it seems like this corridor of Kinnickinnic Avenue needs to be repaved from every direction we give people, heading north to the Deer District. “

Chin has a fairly small workforce, but larger establishments like Aloft Milwaukee Downtown, the closest hotel option to the Fiserv Forum, have had to adapt due to the national labor shortage.

“We all have our employees on board,” said McCue. “All hands are on deck. It ensures that we have plenty of clean towels and clean sheets. Make sure our bar is ready for extra beer and extend opening hours wherever we can. “

Most hotels, such as Chin and Hotel Metro on Mason Street, are already sold out for Game 4 on Wednesday. Aloft still has a few options.

“We still have a handful of rooms available for Wednesday, but fewer than 20,” said McCue. “After that, we are already preparing for the potential of Game 6, when we reach that point, and we will be ready for that too. There are already people who book rooms and think that there is a chance that this could happen. ”

Game 6 would be Tuesday, July 20 in Milwaukee. We found a couple of downtown hotels with a limited number of rooms that were still available that evening. However, they pay a higher price.
