BROWNSVILLE, Kentucky – Earlier this month, Edmonson County announced a new director for the Edmonson County Tourism Commission.

Vanessa Ulm is the mother of two little girls and comes from Warren County.

In 2006 she moved to Edmonson County and adopted it as her home.

Ulm previously worked as a merchandise manager for an international company before she decided to take on this position and work on site with her own community.

Ulm looks forward to getting to know its surroundings and improving and maintaining tourism in the district.

She hopes it can contribute to economic growth and tax revenue in the years to come.

Ulm was set after the former director of the Tourism Commission was charged with dozens of counterfeiting and theft of over $ 10,000.
